Course assessment:
The course is made up of four units in total. Two units are studied at AS Level and two at A2 Level. All units are assessed through examination. Each unit has an equal weighting. There is no coursework.

What Makes a good Accounting student?
Students will have to be confident in working with and analysing numbers. They will also have to be precise in their approach to problem solving and must be able to present workings and findings neatly.

An increasing number of Accounting students have been successful in gaining places on prestigious degree courses run in conjunction with top Accountancy firms. Many past Accounting students have gained employment in the Accounting sector and have completed their chartered qualification. The department also hosts visiting speakers from local Accountancy practices.
