Course Description
This level introduces more complicated accounting tasks, including the preparation of final accounts for sole traders and partnerships. You will also learn how to maintain cost accounting records and how to prepare reports and returns.

Entry Requirements
Level 3 Work-based Advanced Apprenticeship learners will have to undertake a period of initial assessment, including a vocational aptitude test, and achieve between 50% and 70% in both Literacy and Numeracy Level 2 diagnostic tests.

Assessment: Formal examinations in costing and maintaining financial records and accounts. Three skills tests.

Progression Routes: AAT Level 4. Foundation degree in Accounting, Chartered Institute of Management Accounting, Chartered Institute of Certified Accountants, Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy, Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
