Accounting HNC (SCQF level 7)

The HNC Accounting Award has been designed to meet the demands and requirements of the Accounting Industry. Opportunities are provided to develop your skills, knowledge and understanding in preparation for employment, or for progression to courses such as AAT level 8, or HND Accounting.  Further detail of the topics covered is provided in the section “what you study” below. You will be assessed throughout this course with the assessments taking the form of practical assessments, assignment and case studies. Towards the end of your course you will undertake a Graded Unit examination, which is designed to assess your ability to integrate the knowledge and skills gained through the mandatory units.
