ACS Commercial CIGA1 Indirect Fired Appliances Overview

This is designed to test your competence in the work of commission, service, repair and breakdown of commercial gas fired forced convection air heaters and gas fired hot water boilers of rated inputs between 60kW and 2mW by practical and knowledge and understanding.

Entry requirements

Candidates must hold a certificate of competence in the following:

Commercial core gas safety COCN1 or CoDNC01 and

Installation first fix commercial appliances ICAE1 or
Installation first fix commercial pipework ICPN1 (required if pipework exceeds 28mm diameter)

Training £150.00
Assessment £75.00

Inclusive of study books, certification and hospitality. No VAt applies

How long is the course?

Half a day for training with half a day for assessment on the same day.

How will I be assessed?

Through practical and theoretcial applications.

Success rates

100% since commencement.

What does the course lead to?

Once students have proved competence this will lead to registration with Gas Safe Register.
