ACS CORT1 Commercial Assessment Overview

This is designed to test the gas safety competence of an operative in the work of commission, service, repair and breakdown of commercial overhead radiant luminous plaque heaters and type A (Flueless) and type B (flued) overhead radiant tube heaters by practical and knowledge and understanding.

Entry requirements

Candidates must hold a certificate of competence in the following:

Commercial core gas safety assessment COCN1 or CoDNC01, and

Installation First Fix Commercial Appliances ICAE1 or
Installation First Fix Commercial Pipework ICPN1 (required if pipework exceeds 28mm diameter.)

Start dates and fees

Proces are fully inclusive of study material, certification and hospitality. No VAT applies

How long is the course?

1/2 day training followed by 1/2 day for assessment.

How will I be assessed?

Through theoretical and practical applications.

Success rates

100% since commencement.

What does the course lead to?

Registration with Gas Safe Register.
