Act All - Voice, Presentation and Communication Skills act all classes will help you to:

• develop your voice
• reduce stress
• control nerves
• speak confidently
• improve your interaction with clients, staff and friends
• understand and use gestures
• learn how to listen effectively and react accordingly
• communicate one to one or to a large audience

How?
The above are skills that actors have developed and learnt through their training at drama school. act up strongly believes that everyone can benefit from this knowledge and training. The course is taught using methods that the actors have adapted from their own training and professional work. act all is aimed at anyone who recognises the importance of learning how to utilise the voice and body effectively.
The course focuses on :

• standing and speaking in front of people with confidence
  
• strengthening the voice and developing breath control
  
• articulating ideas and words effectively
  
• creating spatial and physical awareness
  
• controlling stress and nerves
  
• learning how to relax
  
• enhancing listening and concentration techniques
  

It's a 2-hour, eight-week course with a maximum group size of 10. A 2-hour per week, eight-week course.

• Dates: the next available course begins in February 2009:
  Starting on Tuesday 3rd February (and every Tuesday until 24th March)
  7.00 pm - 9.00 pm (8 weeks)
