Acting: Meisner Scene Class

A course for those interested in exploring the Meisner Technique with text. Open to both beginners and those who have worked with Meisner and text before. We will work with the repetition exercise and participants will be given one or two scenes to work on and develop throughout the course. Participants should have taken an Introduction course and preferably work regularly with repetition work.

Kate is an actress/director and teacher. She has worked extensively in TV, radio and theatre and has written scripts for the BBC and Channel 4. She has worked closely with Scott Williams exploring and developing the Meisner Technique. A co-founder of WhiteBox, she co-created and wrote their debut production, Angel Filth which was performed at the Tristan Bates Theatre.
