About this course
This is an intensive and demanding course which aims to mirror the commitment and rigours of full time professional training. The workshop will be highly suitable for those students who wish to undertake a vibrant and challenging course but are unable to commit to a full time course.

Daniel Finlay
Head of Acting
Daniel is a teacher and theatre director with over 25 years professional experience. He worked extensively as an actor in theatre, film and television before embarking on a career as a Director and Teacher. Daniel has taught in various colleges and drama schools and was Head of Performing Arts and Media at City College Brighton and Hove. Daniel is Head of Acting at The Academy of Creative Training in Brighton, UK.
Course programme
ACT Summer School
An opportunity to take your performance skills to the next level on our annual Acting Summer School in Screen Acting.
This is a week long daytime course which runs Monday to Friday 10am to 5pm.
There is usually a screening on the final Friday at 5pm.
Monday 31st August to Friday 4th September 2020
An opportunity to explore acting for camera with an experienced industry professional. This week long course will allow participants to develop confidence and ease in performing for camera as well as covering the technical aspects of working in TV and Film.
Participants will work practically as actors with cameras and sound. The Friday showing will allow for screening rough cuts and rushes from the week's work.
10am-5pm. Friday Screening 5pm
