5 GCSEs at grades A to C or a BTEC First qualification.

Course content
This course aims to provide an in depth practical course for those students who want to focus on developing their acting skills without the extensive written demands of the A level course. The two year course provides many opportunities for developing different approaches to acting and the chance to explore these new skills and understanding through a range of performances. There will be some flexibility to choose units which suit the interests and experience of individual students.
A likely programme would consist of:
Acting
Theatre in Education
Devising
Contemporary Theatre Performance
The Course concludes with the formation of a performance company which will rehearse and present a public performance of an appropriate play.

How Will I Be Assessed?
Most of the assessment will be based on your development of your acting ability, supported by various forms of written and video evidence.

What Could I Do Next?
This course will enable you to progress to Performing Arts or Drama courses in higher education or give you the qualification to pursue an alternative course of study at university.
