Course programme
This training package, designed exclusively for those working with or providing care to vulnerable adults, aims to develop an understanding of the different forms of abuse and introduce the notion of (self neglect and) neglect (by others). It goes on to explore improving awareness of the signs and symptoms of both abuse and neglect to aid in its recognition and identifies what to do if abuse or neglect is suspected. Developed around Department of Health’s guidance contained in "No Secrets" this title is ideally suited for basic awareness training for any staff group working around vulnerable adults in a variety of service settings.
