Course Summary:
This qualification recognises the skills, knowledge and competence required for an individual to apply the principles of nutrition to support client goals as part of an exercise and physical activity programme.
Courses are planned to start in:
October - Half term
February - Half Term
July - Mon-Fri day time
November - 10x Tuesdays 6-9pm

Entry requirements
It is recommended that you should hold the CYQ Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing, or an equivalent award, or have a knowledge of nutrition for exercise at Level 2.
You will need sufficient English and maths skills to support the theoretical aspects of the course.

Course Content: You will cover: applying the principles of nutrition to a physical activity programme collecting, analysing and utilising nutritional information the principles of nutritional goal setting with clients providing nutritional advice in line with nationally recommended best practice How will I be assessed? You will be asssessed through: a multiple choice theory paper/eAssessment coursework Are there any additional costs or specialist equipment required? There are no additional costs, although candidates may choose to pay for membership towards becoming a Registered Exercise Professional. What can I do after this course? You may wish to continue your studies on a Level 3 REPs accredited course such as the Level 3 Certificate in Personal Training.
