What I would highlight: In the initial segment of the letter I want to thank you for valuable experience and the data given by you. Our college is the corporate focus of arrangement, retraining and change of expert ability of the faculty of the organisations going into Kazatomprom. Your instruction programs, both long and short term in the field of alternative energy sources, financial, key administration, arranging and planning are of awesome enthusiasm to us.

What I would highlight: You are the best for your course and (the most fascinating for me) diversions. I am awed by your broad information. I have many inquiries, not just about shale gas.I believe that the most ideal approach to learn is simply discuss the most vital things and ordeals.

Course programme

This is an advanced level training course for individuals interested in ANCA who wish to study leading/cutting edge of methodologies as follows:

  • For example; environmental challenges to develop hydrocarbon energy resources around the globe, in particular in harsh / arctic weather conditions, shale oil and gas fields etc.
  • As conventional / sweet / light oil is running out we are stuck with literally having to scrape the barrel with unconventional, sticky, dirty, or acidic crude oil and sour gas.
  • Contracts to develop such difficult and costly undertakings require unique negotiation skills and knowledge of the operating conditions that reflect in profitability and sharing of income and costs of such projects.
  • Discoveries of oil and gas generate much anticipation and excitement and anxiety and great effort is put into understanding technical and commercial aspects of oil and gas field development.
  • One of the first key challenges to construction, mining and oil & gas companies is the Mining/Oil & Gas Exploitation (MOGE) contract negotiation and agreement with government that need to reflect the challenges mentioned above and fairly split the risks between the Operating Oil/Gas Company (or simply Operating Company - OC).
  • This advanced unique training course will help you to identify the key areas that oil and gas companies should focus on during their contract negotiations and it provides guidance regarding who should be negotiating, over what issues, with what informational background and with what time horizon.
