About this course
This course has been tailored to meet the needs of those who want to extend the scope of their clinical practice skills. If this sounds like you, this could be what you’ve been looking for. While in some ways mirroring our MSc Advanced Clinical Practice course, we can also offer this course at a PGCert level.
You should have an MSc in Specialist Practice (PHP/PCC SCPHN), or a recognised equivalent international qualification. You must be currently registered as a healthcare professional to apply.

Course programme
Our course consists of three 15 credit modules and one 30 credit module. We can also offer you a one-year full-time or, more commonly, a two-year part-time course with a maximum registration period of five years. Students usually study over one or two years part time.

The University operates a credit framework for all taught programmes based on a 15-credit tariff. Modules can be either 15, 30, 45 or 60 credits, and additionally for some masters dissertations, 90 credits.
