Content / Overview:
This course has been designed to prepare students for work in a variety of health and social care settings. Subjects include communication, equality of opportunity, development across all ages, anatomy and physiology and research skills. You also attend work placements to enable you to apply what you learn in the classroom into working in a real care setting. You will be required to complete a Criminal Records Bureau check at the beginning of the course which you will need to pay for.
Delivery Method:
Practical and theoretical elements and work placements.
Assessment:
Internal and external assessment of coursework.
Progression:
Degrees or careers in health or care related disciplines such as nursing, midwifery, occupational therapy or other areas.
