On this workshop you will gain invaluable feedback on any issues that need correcting in your sound and guidance with solving them. You will be shown some of the advanced tools, tips and tricks for analysing and enhancing audio and making multi channel audio editing easier.

About this course

- Identify the audio issues in your project that can be resolved in editing.
- use tools to automatically analyse and adjusting audio problems
- make manual adjustments in the Audio Enhancements section of the Audio inspector
- use audio configuration to separate channels
- Select appropriate format for exporting audio.

You are expected to bring a short film project you’re working on.
The latest professional equipment and software are available for your use throughout the course. It would be useful to bring a memory stick (or portable hard drive – please note PC formatted hard drives can be read by Apple mac computers, but not written to.).

Course programme

You will be taught using a range of techniques including workshops, short lectures, demonstrations, practical exercises, tutorials, group and individual assistance and hand-outs. Please note the City Lit uses Apple Mac computers in Animation, Cartooning, Digital arts, Film, Graphics, Illustration, Photography and Web design.
