About the subject
If you intend to work in the travel industry, either with an airline, tour operator or travel agent, this course will give you a head start in the race for employment. It is an industry recognised qualification which will often get you the interview for the job you desire.
During the course students will learn the language of the airline industry, be able to plan itineraries for different journeys, and understand the complexities of fare construction and choosing the most appropriate fare for the customer.

Learning Styles
Students will work through a workbook with guidance and exercises to ensure the full understanding of many new concepts. Students will perform role plays to understand the needs of customers and be able to perform calculations in a variety of situations.

Subject combinations and progression
Air Fares and Ticketing is a short course that works well with any subject combination but is recommended for students who wish to work in the travel industry.
