- Aetiology of anaphylactic shock: causes and origins of anaphylactic shock
- Recognition of anaphylactic and anaphylactoid reactions
- Considerations in relation to treatment, Documentation and record-keeping
- Assessment and management of a collapsed patient
- Recommendation for management, First-line treatment: securing the airway
- Restoration of blood pressure
- Administration of adrenaline (epinephrine) injection (epipen)
- Oxygen administration, Antihistamines Continuing deterioration and overview of ongoing management, Cautions
Outcome: This course carries a CodeBlue Education Certificate, valid for 12 months
