What's it all about?:
This course involves an intense programme of study which encompasses all the practical and theoretical skills required in order to qualify as a massage therapist. You will learn and develop the art of holistic body massage alongside an in-depth study of anatomy and physiology. You will be expected to purchase the necessary kits associated with the course.
Progression:
Successful completion of the programme will enhance opportunities for self-employment or employment within beauty salons, health clubs, spas, hydros or leisure clubs. It will also enable you to take advantage of the postgraduate courses such as aromatherapy, reflexology or sports therapy offered at the College.

When can I study?:
Tuesdays, 5.30pm - 9.00pm
Are there any exams?:
There is continuous assessment of both practical and theoretical work throughout the programme leading to an external written and practical examination. You will be required to complete five case studies to be submitted prior to the practical exam.
