The following will be considered at interview:

Students will have a 15-20 minutes presentation by section leader. This will include overview of the land based industries, courses available at the different levels of qualification; career and course progression, what the college expect from students and how they are assessed will be discussed.


Then, individual students will be interviewed by 2 members of staff who will inform you of the outcome before you leave (unless further discussions are required).

Students must bring a pen to the interview.


Those people who enjoy practical outdoor work and have already had some experience or interest in working in the Land Based Industries. Some work experience with animals will be beneficial.

You will complete 7 units in 1 year, such as:
