Course review:
This animation club will introduce children to a variety of techniques used in stop motion animation. During each session the students will explore technical methods as they make short animated films. There will be screenings to introduce them to the different techniques they are learning and the last session includes an introduction to sound recording and editing.
Our animation projects are designed specifically to help students succeed in the creation of high quality animation work. These fun, practical sessions are led by trusted animators with the support of volunteers interested in developing their skills in the creative industries. All our members of staff and volunteers are CRB checked. Each workshop will have a maximum of 12 participants.
Upon completing this course, students will:
• Know how to set up iStopMotion on a computer with an animation camera
• Know how to capture basic stop motion animation
