Course Description:
This course is aimed at learners who are already in full-time employment in a commercial salon and would like to gain an NVQ 2 in hairdressing or barbering
Description Breakdown:
This is a 25-month course where you will develop the l practical skills, study hair theory and the science of hairdressing or barbering. You will attend college on a Monday and then work in a commercial salon for the rest of the week. You are required to work a minimum of 16 hours in the salon. An allocated college assessor will assess you in the salon on a regular basis and liase with your employer to ensure you receive the required training. You will also work towards achieving key skills qualifications, which will develop your communication and number skills in the salon
