Overview

The college offers Advanced Apprenticeships in:

  • Professional Cookery,
  • Hospitality Supervision,
  • Patisserie and Confectionary,
  • BIIAB Licensed Hospitality.

You will work towards:

  • Competence based qualification - level 3,
  • Knowledge based qualification - level 3,
  • English - level 2,
  • maths - level 2,
  • Employee rights and responsibilities,
  • Personal learning and thinking skills.

Entry Requirements

You will be employed in industry, earning a wage whilst gaining skills and qualifications employers need and value.

You must have an employer to support you through your Apprenticeship and give you time off to attend college. Many people find their own job or are already employed but if not, college staff can help you find employment.

  • An appropriate level 2 Apprenticeship,
  • an assessment indicating that you are working at level 2 and you are able to achieve level 2 in English and maths within one year, and
  • you should demonstrate an interest or knowledge of working in the vocational area and wish to take up a career in the relevant industry.
