Around the World in 20 Ways

In this world tour of Jewish life down the ages, we’ll enter into the unique stories of twenty Jewish communities—little and large—in diverse areas of the globe, from the USA to the USSR, from India to Italy and from Ethiopia to England. We’ll spend one or two sessions on each community we visit, focusing on its distinctive way of life and tracing the steps from its establishment through its development and towards its decline, triumph or revival. This is world Jewish history as never before. When she’s not teaching Jewish subjects, Angela works as an educational consultant to teachers and schools. She has written over 40 books and frequently broadcast on the radio on religious and cultural diversity. She has a special interest in migration and asylum, and is a trustee of The Separated Child Foundation. Wednesday mornings 10.00am-12.00pm
