After the First World War, artists, architects and designers responded to the massive changes wrought, in a wide variety of ways: from the clean lines of Bauhaus design to the exuberance of Art Deco; from the boom of the 20s to the bust of the 30s.
Find out how politics and propaganda played a part in architecture in the US as well as in Europe, with a particular emphasis on London. Look at how the decorative arts responded to the massive changes in society and in the influence of fashion in this period.
