Art, Design & Media Foundation Diploma

This one year full-time course will provide areas of study in aspects of art and design to include; Fine art (painting, sculpture, printmaking, installation, mixed media, performance etc.) Graphic design (advertising campaigns, branding, typography, illustration etc.) Photography (dark room, studio and location, digital etc.) Textiles (textile design, surface pattern, interior design, fashion etc.) Animation (drawn animation, model making, cut out animation, mixed media moving image etc.) Drawing (life drawing, still life, experimental techniques etc.) Theoretical, historical and contextual studies in art and design. You will be set assignments which will challenge and develop both your practical skills and theoretical knowledge of art and design. You will document your progress and record your research in sketchbooks to support the art and design work you produce.
