What is Business Studies?
Business Studies focuses on the work of organisations.

The areas studied include:

· Business objectives and strategies

The course helps you to develop many skills that will be useful to you in whatever career path you choose. You will learn how to make reasoned decisions and to support your ideas with evidence and clear arguments.
Will I enjoy this course?
The A Level will appeal to anyone who is looking for a career in any form of management. Alternatively, the course can serve as a general introduction to the world of work. The A Level is assessed through exams and will appeal to those students who like to analyse the key business issues they see around them.
Advanced Extension Awards
Advanced Extension Awards (AEA) are available in Business and Economics but are more challenging than the A Level course and will be offered as an enrichment opportunity to those students who show exceptional talent and aptitude for the subject.
