This is an interesting, practical and useful subject, providing a valuable insight into all financial aspects of commercial and non commercial organisations.

What will I study?
The course allows students to develop knowledge of accounting techniques and assess their relevance and limitations as an information system.
Students will become proficient at interpreting accounting information and producing results for a variety of interested parties
e.g. management, shareholders and employees, while assessing the influence of social, economic, legal and technological factors on accounting decisions.

What next?
Students who successfully complete this course may choose to go on to Higher Education or seek employment at an appropriate level.
