History
Askham Bryan College are a land-based college with the main centre based at York. The Bradford Centre was opened in 2009, mainly to provide a land-based sector for learners that are based in the inner city of Bradford and surrounding areas.
Areas of specialisation
The Askham Bryan Bradford Centre currently provide learners with the opportunity to study Animal Management Levels 1,2 and 3.
In September 2012 we will also be offering Horticulture Level 1 and 2.
The staff are all subject specialist and have had many years of experience in the land-based industries and come from a wide range of backgrounds, allowing the learners to be provided with a vast range of knowledge.

Welcome to Askham Bryan College - We’re proud to be the fastest growing land based college in the country, thanks to our range of existing courses, great teaching and fantastic facilities.
We have courses to suit just about everyone, whether you are looking for an entry level starter course, an honours degree, work based learning or anything in between. Our residential campus is near York. We have centres at Bedale, Guisborough (courses up to degree level), Harrogate and Thirsk and we also deliver animal management courses at Bradford, Middlesbrough, Scarborough and Wakefield. Our staff are the backbone of the College.
Our lecturers all have a vast knowledge of their subject areas and many have had considerable experience working in industry. The staff who work in supporting roles are also dedicated to helping our students achieve their goals.
We’re a very friendly college and there’s lots to do when you’re not studying. If you’re interested in studying with us, you really do need to come and see for yourself. It could be your first step towards a new experience and a great career.
The Bradford Centre was opened in 2009, it is based in the centre of Bradford with excellent transport links via Bradford City Centre.
