Who is it for?
The AAT Accounting Qualification is an ideal qualification for anyone who is working in the field of finance, administration or as a bookkeeper (Accounting Technician).

This prestigious qualification is guaranteed to give you the cutting edge throughout your career, and can open the door to a huge range of well paid and highly respected administrative and accounting roles.

If you would like to gain a good 'hands on' grasp of essential accounting skills and principles, and learn how to apply them in your job, this course offers just what you're looking for. At the end of your studies you will have gained a good understanding of both manual and computerised accounts as well as business administration and you will know how to use them in a 'real world' setting.
The course is ideal for anyone who is already working in an office and is free, providing you meet the funding criteria.

What qualities do I need to do this course?
You will need to be determined to achieve, focused on the career you have chosen and be prepared to work hard.

When will I need to attend College?
You will be required to attend College one full day a week.

When will the course start?
The course starts in October of each year.

What qualifications will I get?
Once you have completed at the end of Level 2, you will be qualified/skilled to undertake a number of bookkeeping and office administration duties and also have the opportunity to progress onto the Advanced Apprenticeship programme.

Entry Requirements
A minimum of 2 grade C- s at GCSE in Maths and English is preferred but not essential.
