About the Qualification

NPTC and the British Turf & Landscape Irrigation Association (BTLIA) have been working together for over a year to produce a qualification that will enable users and managers to obtain the information that will enable them to operate their automatic irrigation systems more efficiently.

The Assessment

Knowledge to be assessed :

* Design principles including sprinkler selection and spacing
* Calculation of water application rates and water use
* Irrigation system component
* Water supplies and storage
* Pipework materials and connection techniques
* Basic system maintenance including seasonal operations
* BTLIA Minimum standards
