History
Training Provider since 1975 for land-based training, which includes all agricultural 1 -3 day courses, arboricultural training up to 5 days with an assessment afterwards which gives them a Certificate of Competence.Assessment Centre Manager for 13 years arranging assessments for Pesticides, chainsaws, brush cutters, brushwood chippers, transport of animals, diggers, dumpers, mobile elevated work platforms, sheep dips, tractor driving, atv's, fork lift trucks etc.
Advantages of studying here
On the job training, short courses with assessment afterwards if required, which add points for gaining a QCF Qualification. Mostly practical training but Management Courses can be accommodated on demand.
Description
Derbyshire Land Skills have been working in association with the National Proficiency Test Council for a number of years, to provide Derbyshire Agricultural workers and farmers with a range of Assessments to prove their competence in order to develop and enhance a career in agriculture.
