Award in Coaching Studies (1st4sport)
About the Course
Plan and prepare for coaching sessions. Conduct coaching sessions under supervision, in a safe environment. Promote good ethical practice associated with sports coaching. Establish and maintain relationships that support the coaching process. Develop effective communication skills appropriate to coaching. Review your own and others†coaching performance. Develop an action plan for future coaching sessions. Deal with injury and signs of illness. Follow emergency procedures. Promote the sport and the opportunities to participate.
Level 1 Coaching courses in line with UKCC model
These enhancement courses are the first steps on the coaching ladder, covering Health & Safety, Basic Sports, Session Management and Delivery of Skills.
We recommend this course for students taking AS PE or BTEC National Diploma in Sport.

No Course Fees for Under 19's. Over 19's must pay, or claim Level 2 or Level 3 Entitlement for FREE courses .
