Looking at starting a career in door supervision? Gain the qualification required by law for the grant of a Security Industry Authority (SIA) licence to work as a door supervisor. Working in any licensable role without the appropriate SIA licence is a criminal offence. To work as a door supervisor you must hold a frontline door supervisor's licence issued by the Security Industry Authority (SIA). To be granted this licence an applicant must: be at least 18 years old; pass the SIA’s criminality criteria; hold a recognised door supervisors qualification- the Level 2 Award in Door Supervision. The Level 2 Award in Door Supervision is a legal requirement for any person applying for an SIA Door Supervisor licence.
