BA (Hons) History of Art and French Gives students the opportunity to experience teaching from across 2 broad areas of the School of Arts, Languages and Cultures bringing together expertise across a wide range of Subject Areas. History of Art and Visual Studies course units cover European and North American art and architecture from the Ancient Greek world to the present day, as well as courses in Middle Eastern and South Asian art. French courses at Manchester give students a firm grounding in French language and the chance to explore in depth French culture, linguistics, film, art, history and literature. They equip students with the skills needed to thrive in French-speaking environments.
