History
To Baby and Beyond was founded in early 2007 and is managed by qualified nurse Julie Cleasby. Julie is a Registered Paediatric Nurse, Specialising in Child Health, a registered Health Visitor and Early Years First Aider. We have been sucessfully running First Aid Courses for Parents and Carers for over 2 years across Sussex and Surrey. We are also provide Baby and Child First Aid Courses in Sure start Centres accross Brighton and Hove.

All of our First Aid Courses are facilitated by instructors who are experienced tutors, specialist paediatric nurses and health visitors. Our instructors have many years experience working with and training health professionals, child care workers and parents. We have extensive experience with families and children within both the hospital environment and community setting. This means we bring experiential knowledge to all of our courses. We specialise in Paediatric First Aid.We use a range of teaching methods appropriate to the course and to engage learners in a fun and interesting way.We use up to date information from the Resuscitation Council and ensure that the course fully meet the requirements for your workplace and any regulatory body such as Ofsted.Our aim is to run interesting and informative courses which combine theory and practical activities to empower parents and professionals to feel competent and confident in basic first aid skills.
Areas of specialisation
To Baby and Beyond specialise in Paediatric First Aid and all of our courses are taught by experiences Paediatric Nurses. We also offer Basic Child Protection Awareness Courses aimed at child care workers. We also offer Baby Massage Courses and Birth preparation workshops
