Who is this course for?
Anyone who has attended a beginner's class. (It is not necessary to have a partner.)

What previous knowledge/experience are required?
You need to know the basic steps of Ballroom and Latin Dances : Waltz, Rhythm Quickstep, Ramba, Cha Cha, Jive.

What is the level of the course?
Intermediate/Improvers.

What will the course cover and what can I expect to do by the end of it?
You will learn more advanced steps in the Ballroom and Latin Dances : Waltz, Quickstep, Fox Trot, Tango and Viennese Waltz, Rumba, Cha Cha, Jive, Paso Doble, Mambo and Samba. You will also build confidence. Learning outcomes : - improve your knowledge of the timing of the various rhythms - learn to dance with a partner - use the correct footwork

What teaching and learning methods will be used on the course?
Demonstrate and explain solo both men and women. Pupils then take partners and dance, first under instruction then with music, changing partners.

How will we assess your progress on the course?
By observation and constructive advice to individuals and to the group as a whole.

What type of qualification will passing this course give me?
WMC Certificate of completion.

What extra study/practice do we expect you to do outside the class?
Practice at home.

What can I do after completing this course?
It is possible to repeat the course to continue your improvement and build confidence. Students who wish to may enter the external medal test system.

Are there any other costs? (e.g. materials, equipment or books I need to buy before or during the course)
Come regularly to class, keep up with fellow students in the class. Also practice at public dances. Appropriate clothes and footwear for dancing.

Are there any other requirements?
You are required to attend every lesson on time.
