The Programme
This course provides a broad range of practical skills together with theoretical knowledge required to make a decision regarding the next stage of training and what speciality to embark on. The focus is on the practical skills and underpinning knowledge required in the Construction Industry.
The Programme Content
The course comprises of modules covering the following trade skills. Brickwork, Electrical, Plastering, Plumbing, Painting/Decorating,Tiling (wall), Woodwork and Health & Safety test (externally set by the awarding body).
Progression / Careers
The qualification is recognised and accepted across the whole construction industry and will allow students to progress onto a range of other courses such as Trowel Occupations Diploma Level 1, Wood Occupations Diploma Level 1 or Diploma Level 2 in Maintenance Operations (Construction).
