Level 3 BCNH-set case studies
In Level 3 students are required to complete 4 complex case studies (2 formative and 2 summative), including functional & biochemical test analysis and interpretation.

Successful completion of UG and BCNH Level 1, 2 & 3 courses will lead to BCNH Pre-Degree Diploma in Nutritional Therapy (without Clinical Practice).

Upon successful completion of UG and BCNH Level 1, 2 & 3 courses and clinical practice, students will be awarded BCNH Pre-Degree Diploma in Nutritional Therapy (with Clinical Practice).

NTC Registration
The BCNH Pre-Degree Diploma in Nutritional Therapy (with Clinical Practice) is currently in the process of NTC accreditation.

Please note that once the accrediation is complete the registration acceptance onto the NTC (Nutritional Therapy Council) register is at the discretion of NTC, not just successful completion of the course.

Converting Pre-Degree Diploma to BSc

  • Following successful completion of the BCNH Nutritional Therapy Diploma (without clinical practice), students may apply to join the BSc Hons Professional Practice in Health and Social Care (Nutritional Health) programme and transfer relevant credits gained from their studies as Associate Students, into the programme.
  • Associate Students are entitled to the same privileges and access to resources as all other part-time students of the University for the duration of their period of study.
  • BCNH courses provide 195 credits and UG courses 45 credits towards the BCNH Diploma. Students will need to complete a further 120 credits provided by the University of Greenwich, to gain a total of 360 credits for the BSc (Hons) Professional Practice in Health and Social Care (Nutritional Health) awarded by the University.

Life after the qualification
Our graduates have pursued their careers in various areas: working in multidisciplinary clinics, teaching, lecturing, running workshops, delivering public seminars, working in GP’s surgeries, running courses for local councils, planning menus for school meals, writing articles for magazines, etc.

Withdrawal from the course
Any student who wishes to withdraw from the course must inform the college in writing, a minimum of THREE MONTHS in advance. Failure to do so will result in a cancellation Fee.
