Beaded Jewellery - Weekly Projects
Summary
This course would be appropriate for anyone who has completed the Beaded Jewellery for Beginners course, or who is confident with bead threading/stringing and attaching clasps etc.
About the Course
We will be aiming to complete a beaded project of jewellery each week.
At the first meeting we will string a necklace using a mixture of glass beads.
The following 2 weeks will be open to suggestions within reason, but could include how to make a bracelet using memory wire, or perhaps a lariate style threaded necklace without clasps. We could also look at making ear-rings either in bead clusters by threading beads together or bunches using wire to attach beads to a chain.
The tutor will have samples of some projects to provide ideas of what to make after week one, but it should be understood that although there will obviously be design differences, to ensure the tutor is able to provide equal attention, all students should agree to make the same projects.
Course fees cover the cost of 2 projects. The cost for the third project should be no more than £3 to £4.
