2. Course description During the course you will cover a combination of practical and theory-based modules to ensure you are fully equipped with the skills and experience to progress in this field.  You'll learn about skincare, hand care, applying basic make-up, face painting and nail art, and you can expect lots of hands-on learning to ensure you master all the necessary skills and techniques.  You'll also complete a range of practical and written assignments to demonstrate the skills you have acquired.  It's very important for beauty therapists to have good customer service skills as they need to be able to make clients feel relaxed and comfortable. This course will ensure you are prepared and equipped with these essential skills.

Entry requirements You must have ALL of the following:      3 GCSEs at grade E or above including English, Maths & Science     A satisfactory interview     Successful assessments in literacy and numeracy  Adults 19+ who have industry experience but do not have the necessary qualifications are welcome to apply. 4. Equipment required Where appropriate, any equipment required (e.g. protective clothing) will be discussed with you at interview/enrolment.
