• The Academy of Hair & Beauty at our High Street Campus has fully equipped modern, commercial salons for hairdressing, beauty therapy and nail services using professional equipment and products
• Tutors are highly qualified and have a wealth of professional industry experience and regularly update their skills ensuring you have the best tuition and guidance
• You will have opportunities to take part in additional specialist training courses including Dermalogica, Su-Do spray tan, false eyelashes, ear piercing and body wrap. (NB: some may require a fee payment)
• You will take part in work experience and be encouraged to find part-time work in a salon

• How to provide treatments for improving the condition of skin, and nails and learn how to apply make-up professionally
• How to use professional equipment and products through working in a commercial salon
• Skills development to communicate effectively with clients and your peers

• You will work as part of a team, working together and supporting each other throughout the year but will have one-to-one tutorials to monitor progress
• Through timetabled theory sessions will cover the underpinning knowledge required to complete the open book exams and formal examinations

• Our commercial salons are equipped with all the up-to-date equipment and treatments
• All practical sessions will take place in our commercial salons working with real clients
• You are required to purchase a kit and wear a uniform for the practical aspects of your course
