Description of the Course
This course is designed for Beauty Therapists already possessing Level 2 recognised qualification and the relevant key skill, wanting to broaden their existing skills to meet today's industry requirements.
Course content
Mandatory Units
G1 - Ensure your own actions reduce risks to Health & Safety.
G6 - Promote additional products or services to clients.
G11 - Contribute to the Financial Effectiveness of the business.
BT16 - Epilate the hair follicle, using Diathermy, Galvanic and Blend techniques.
BT17 - Provide Hair and Body Massage treatments.
BT18 - Improve body condition using Electro-therapy.
BT19 - Improve face and skin condition using Electro-therapy.
BT21 - Provide massage using pre-blended Aromatherapy Oils.
Assessment
Coursework, assignments, practical assignments, workplace assessment, portfolio building, exams.
Who is the course for?
Entry requirements
Level 2 Beauty Therapy qualification and the relevant key skills. Progression onto this programme is subject to a selection processs. You may also be asked to demonstrate your commitment and skills in an interview.
