Adam is a technical wizard and a great communicator. He knows a great deal and loves to see others making practical use of what he knows. Simon Tomey

Simon Tomey

Consulting Director

A chartered accountant and Oracle Functional consultant who makes it great fun to learn new things. A compelling delivery style ensures that difficult concepts are not only clearly understood, but applied. A popular and engaging speaker at the UKOUG, an enthusiastic advocate of the practical application of BI Publisher and a great coach and trainer. A passion for delivery and deep experience with Oracle Financials (11i and R12; AR,AP,CE,GL, Advanced Collections, BI Publisher, Reporting). An occasional triathlete.

Course programme

An intensive one hour starter course focused on enabling the attendees to meet their immediate reporting needs by transforming reports using XMLP/BIP (as imbedded into EBS). At the end of the course you will understand the context and pre-requisites for great BIP reporting. You will also know how to activate existing reports in your environment and be shown the fundamentals of developing templates.

This is a keenly priced taster session. It will teach you enough to get started and explore further on your own, but you are likely to want to become fully proficient by attending our longer courses (BIP Intro, BIP Intermediate, BIP Advanced).

No limit to the number of attendees.

Free after course remote support on all courses for a "reasonable" period.

You could get the equivalent level of knowledge and ability by spending 2-4 days working through Oracle or other user guides.
