Bicycle maintenance - Spring into action

Your Course
This is an introductory course to help you keep your bicycle in good working order. You will learn to carry out minor adjustments and repairs. Learning Outcomes
By the end of the course, you will have had an opportunity to:
· Mend a puncture
· Carry out adjustments to your brakes, steering and transmission
· Develop an understanding of the possibilities and limitations of home cycle maintenance.
Your Tutor
John Claydon became addicted to bicycles at the age of 11. He has trained and supervised Duke of Edinburgh Award cycle expeditions. He has used his bike to commute to work and enjoys exploring the countryside whenever the opportunity arises. He is a member of the Fenland Bicycle Safari Club and is a Sustrans supporter.
Day and time: Saturday 10.00am -2.00pm

Number of sessions: 1
Tuition fees: £25
Method of payment: Fees for short courses (10 weeks or less) to be paid in full at enrolment and for long courses (12 weeks or more) fees of 50% can be paid at enrolment plus 50% as a cheque. Course places cannot be reserved without receipt of both payments.
Half term:
Please note that there are no classes during half term Monday 15th - Friday 19th February 2010 unless otherwise stated.
