P.C. College in Liverpool is running BIIAB-approved National Certificate for Personal Licence Holders (NCPLH) training courses throughout 2010 for just £150

Under the Licensing Act 2003, anyone authorising the retail sale of alcohol will have to hold a personal licence. In order to qualify for a personal licence, an applicant must hold a licensing qualification.

This qualification is specifically designed to meet the statutory requirements of the Licensing Act 2003. Cost for this training is just £150, which includes all tuition costs, learning materials and exam fees.

Next course availability in Liverpool:

Thursday 24th March 2010 - Please call asap to book and enrol.

Due to this great price (£150), demand for places is always very high.

Please call for course availability.

P.C. College can also deliver this training 'off-site' including Merseyside and Corby. Terms and conditions apply but if you have a minimum of 12 learners, we can offer a very competitive quote.

Programme Content:
• The Licensing Act 2003; Licensing Policy
• Personal Licence Duties
• Licensable activities/Unauthorised licensable activities
• Premises Licence; Operating Schedules
• The Designated Premises Supervisor
• Temporary Event Notices
• Supply of alcohol; Prohibitions for the sale of alcohol
• Rights of entry and inspection
• Police powers
• Protection of children from harm
• Nature of alcohol and how it affects the body
• Social responsibilities in the retail sale of alcohol
• Conduct of licensed premises

Assessment is via a multiple-choice exam with 40 questions.

All questions test the knowledge of the person taking the exam. It covers all aspects of the law and social responsibilities in relation to the sale of alcohol to the public.

To successfully complete the exam, learners must get 28 out of the 40 questions correct. Courses are run by experienced and friendly trainers, and training facility is easily accessible, either by mainline train station, as well as being conveniently located for access by road.
