Course programme
Modules shown are for the current academic year, and are subject to change depending on your year of entry.
You will follow a similar path to BSc Biochemistry in years one and two.
In the third year you will complete a year in industry or research.
The fourth year provides specialised modules in biochemistry and a research project.
Your fifth year is spent undertaking a variety of business modules.
Year 1All students take the following modules, run in parallel, which provide the fundamental building blocks of biochemistry:

In the second year you will take five core modules and select two optional modules.

Year 4In this year you will continue a biochemistry focus, choosing one module from each group below, in addition to completing Science Communication and either a laboratory-based research project or a literature-based dissertation.
