Biomedicine With Foundation Year (Bsc): 4-Year, Full-Time

Graduates can pursue careers in scientific research, public health or the health sector more generally. This degree may also be useful in becoming a biomedical scientist, healthcare scientist, medical research scientist or microbiologist.

We welcome applicants without traditional entry qualifications as we base decisions on our own assessment of qualifications, knowledge and previous work experience. We may waive formal entry requirements based on judgement of academic potential.

Upon successful completion of the Foundation Year, you will automatically progress onto our three-year, full-time evening study BSc Biomedicine. You need only complete one application and you enrol onto one programme.

This programme is accredited* by the Royal Society of Biology for the purpose of meeting in part the academic and experience requirement for the Membership and Chartered Biologist (CBiol).
