Body Massage Certificate

The Body Massage Certificate is for anyone who wishes to become a therapist or progress into the Holistic Therapies Industry.
You will be expected to study of Anatomy and Physiology and the presentation of a business plan is required.
Entry RequirementsLevel 3 Diploma in Health, Safety, Security and Employment Standards.
Prior knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology would be an advantage but not essential.

A good understanding of written and spoken English is required.
Course Content
There are 2 modules required for completion:
·Study of Employment Standards
·Preparing and Providing Body Massage

A knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology is required for client information and safe and effective performance.

A record to be kept for each treatment given is used for portfolio evidence.

How will I be assessed?
Assessment is by practical, written and oral questioning.
Students will need to demonstrate consistent competency to gain certification.

Portfolio presentation will show progression.

On successful completion students will receive the Vocational Training Charitable Trust Certificate.

What can I do next?
On completion students can progress to the Diploma in Aromatherapy or Diploma in Reflexology or Sports Massage qualification
