Course Description:
Anyone who wishes to learn how to bind or repair new or old books, book collectors and bookbinders that need to update their skills and knowledge.

Description Breakdown:
Short course qualifications offer maximum flexibility. Students will learn practical and technical skills for Bookbinding, and the related areas of Box Construction and Paper and Board Engineering. Students will be taught basic skills in unit 1. Each unit addresses new skills until the student is able to bind and repair books to their own requirements.

Assessment Description: Continuous

Trips Residentials: If pursuing units in Fine Leather Binding the student will expect to spend £200 - £300 for specialist papers, cloth, leather, gold etc
