The brand manager is the person who is responsible for developing and implementing marketing projects aimed at increasing the image of a specific product. It deals with the conception, implementation and management of the production plan of a product or a product line of a specific brand. It studies the current demand and supply on the market of the same competing products or related products in order to elaborate the optimal production plan, taking into account the production constraints of the production chain of the product itself. He devises any new strategies aimed at improving the product. He works closely with the other company functions involved in the production. It may be responsible for coordinating the specialists involved in the functions related to the production and marketing of the product.
